The Journal of Light Construction Online is an online version of the original trade journal. The JLC website contains useful information regarding current building techniques and trends in residential and light commercial construction. Some of the content requires a subscription but there are also a number of articles that are free for the general public.

The Greater Birmingham Association of Homebuilders website provides a listing of builders, subcontractors, suppliers, financial institutions and real estate agents as well as a variety of consumer informormation that may be useful to those considering new construction or remodeling.
